In 1992, Boomernic and Brett Stone ushered in the modern era of reining. Boomernic changed it all and his unique style and electrifying performance set the stage for all of the champions that would follow. The champion breeding legacy of Boomernic is one of the longest NRHA history. The first running of the NRBC in 1998 was won by a Boomernic (Boomerjac) and 13 years later in 2010 it is won by a Boomernic (Boom Shernic) proving that Boomernic is still the Sire of Champions. Boomernic is now on the verge of becoming a $2 Million Dollar Sire and the amazing thing is Boomernic has done it with only 442 foals in his 17 year breeding career.

This is very important to us as it is our goal to bring the small breeder... back to the NRHA. Silver Spurs purchased Boomernic on September 28, 2006 and on December 2, 2006 we were honored at the Futurity in Oklahoma City to bring Boomernic into the arena where Boomernic was formally inducted into the Million Dollar Sire Club and received his Million Dollar Sire Award. This was certainly a proud day for us and a long overdue milestone for Boomernic. What made the Futurity even more exciting for us was the fantastic showing Boomernic's offspring made at the Futurity and the Canadian Reiners Breeders Classic

At the 2011 NRHA Derby Boomernic was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame, this was a proud moment for Silver Spurs Equine, who, after the phenomenal offspring winnings from Conquistador Whiz's offspring in 2010, become the only ranch to own and stand 2 Million Dollar Sires.
