Silver Spurs is offering a very comprehensive breeding program for 2012 complete with incredible breeding discounts and lucrative Futurity Incentives. As a repeat, new or prospective member of the Silver Spurs family of breeders it is important that you are familiar with all of the aspects of our breeding program to be certain that you are taking full advantage of all of its benefits.
BREEDING DISCOUNTS and BREEDING GROUPS:
A major advantage of breeding with Silver Spurs, not available with any other stallion station standing the major stallions, is because we own and stand Boomernic, Conquistador Whiz, Spooks Gotta Gun and Nic It In The Bud we do not charge any chute fees, a major savings right from the start. Plus, you can buy any combination of breeding's to each of the stallions and obtain the multiple mare discounts regardless of whether if you want all of the breeding’s for yourself or you form a breeding group to take advantage of our multiple mare discount program.
For example, say you only wanted a breeding to Boomernic but you put a group together for three breeding's, you to Boomernic, someone else for Conquistador Whiz, and someone else for Spooks Gotta Gun. This would really cut down on the breeding fees for both the members of your group and your breeding fee for Boomernic. Plus for forming the group you would get a 10% commission on the other breeding fees. In fact, even if you do not need a breeding to one of our stallions you can still form a group simply to get the commission. Here is how it would work out:

Plus for putting the group together you would get a 10% commission that would be applied to your breeding fee, or paid directly to you) of $560 (10% of Spooks $275 + 10% of CW $285) making the cost of your breeding to Boomernic only cost you $3,440, pretty fantastic deal huh!

FUTURITY INCENTIVE AWARDS:Silver Spurs offers lucrative Futurity Incentive Awards. All of our awards are fully funded in accounts held at Bank of the West and are stipulated directly in our breeding contracts. Therefore, you are assured that these awards are not just sales hype; they are a contractual obligation of Silver Spurs.
Futurity Incentive Awards for foals bred in 2012:
BOOMERNIC: $80,000NRHA Futurity/Derby Incentive Award for enrolled offspring; DOUBLE CHANCE TO WIN!! $50,000 for winning either the 2016 NRHA Open Futurity or NRHA Open Derby and $30,000 for winning the NRHA Non-Pro Futurity or NRHA Open Non-Pro Derby.
CONQUISTADOR WHIZ:$80,000 NRHA Futurity Incentive Award with $25,000 guaranteed payout for enrolled offspring;
$50,000 for winning the 2016 NRHA Open Futurity and $30,000 for winning the NRHA Open Non-Pro Futurity.
$25,000 Guaranteed Payout:In the event that a Conquistador Whiz enrolled offspring does not win the NRHA Open or Non-Pro Futurities $15,000 will be paid to the highest placing offspring in the 2016 NRHA Open Futurity and $10,000 will be paid to the highest placing offspring in the 2016 NRHA Open Non-Pro Futurity.
SPOOKS GOTTA GUN:$80,000NRHA Futurity Incentive Award with $25,000 guaranteed payout for enrolled offspring;
$50,000 for winning the 2016 NRHA Open Futurity and $30,000 for winning the NRHA Open Non-Pro Futurity.
$25,000 Guaranteed Payout:In the event that a Spooks Gotta Gun enrolled offspring does not win the NRHA Open or Non-Pro Futurities $15,000 will be paid to the highest placing offspring in the 2016 NRHA Open Futurity and $10,000 will be paid to the highest placing offspring in the 2016 NRHA Open Non-Pro Futurity.
NIC IT IN THE BUD:$50,000 NRHA Futurity and NRCHA Futurity Incentive Award for enrolled offspring;
DOUBLE CHANCE TO WIN!! $35,000 for winning either the 2016 NRHA Open Futurity or NRCHA Open Futurity and $15,000 for winning either the 2016 the NRHA Non-Pro Futurity or the 2016 NRCHA Open Non-Pro Futurity.
All awards paid will be split between the breeder of record and the current owner of the horse. After all it was you that took the chance and bred to our stallion, shouldn’t you share in the glory too!
All offspring MUST be enrolled with Silver Spurs to participate in the Futurity Incentive Program. It costs nothing to enroll but all offspring must have an enrollment certificate issued by Silver Spurs.
Silver Spurs has a stable of seven fantastic Jr. Stallions. All of these stallions are the direct offspring the most famous sires: Boomernic, Fritz Command, Conquistador Whiz, Gallo Del Cielo, Custom Crome, Footworks Finest, and Lean With Me. These stallions were all destined for greatness but their careers were cut short either by injury or mis-management. The breeding fee for each of them range from $500 to $750 with discounts for early booking. In addition, the first shipment of semen on these stallions is FREE
When you breed to a Silver Spurs Fab Four Stallion, for each Fab Four breeding you buy you are entitled to one breeding to one of our Jr Stallions for just their booking fee of $250. Since we send the first shipment of semen free on all of our Jr. Stallion's it is like getting the breeding for free! If you cannot use the Jr. Stallion breeding you can assign (or sell) the breeding to someone else that can use it. Please review our Junior Stallions tab to learn their stories and see just how great these stallions are bred. Who knows, your second choice just might produce your first Champion!

THE SILVER SPURS PLEDGE
Silver Spurs prides itself on providing the finest stallions at the most reasonable fees possible. We want everyone to be able to afford to breed to our stallions so that they too can have a chance to breed a champion. All that is required is that you breed to a well bred mare and our stallions will do the rest. History has proven that our stallion’s make the mare not the other way around. Because of this, along with our breeding discounts and lucrative Futurity Incentive Awards we do NOT offer any further discounts for proven producing mares.
Silver Spurs is also very proud of the fact that in 2011 we donated over $270,000 directly to the reining and reined cow horse industries by sponsoring shows, donating breeding’s and funding events. We are able to do this because of your support of our breeding program. In order for us to continue our donations we urge you to continue to support our breeding program and purchase our prospects. We are more than happy to return most of the proceeds back into our support of the industry.
